In the early morning of September 13, Beijing time, Apple’s autumn new product conference, known as the “science and technology Spring Festival Gala”, arrived as scheduled. According to Apple’s official website, the iPhone 15/15 Plus, 15 Pro/15 Pro Max will start at $799, $899, $1,099 and $1,299, respectively. Pre-orders will be accepted on September 15 at 8 p.m., with a release date of September 22.
Two watches, the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, were also announced.
In terms of appearance, the Apple Watch Series 9 has not changed much, but it is equipped with the S9 SiP chip, the new chip has 5.6 billion transistors, which is 60% more than the number of Series 8, and the GPU performance is 30% faster, which makes the Apple Watch S9 battery life can reach 18 hours. It also adds a fantastic new way to interact with the Apple Watch – the “double finger and double tap” gesture.
In addition, Apple calls the Watch Series 9 “the first Apple product to be carbon neutral.” The case and strap are made of renewable materials, and leather straps are no longer made.
In terms of color, the Apple Watch Series 9 aluminum case has added pink, in addition to starlight, midnight, silver, red aluminum cases, as well as gold, silver and graphite stainless steel cases.
In addition, the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra has up to 36 hours of battery life in typical use after a single charge, and up to 72 hours in low-power mode.
In terms of price, the aluminum version of the Apple Watch S9 starts at $399, which is in line with the previous generation’s price. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is priced at $799.
