PCVR
Introduction
In the early stage of design, we communicated with a large number of target users and found that as VR users, they have obvious “early adopter” attributes, among which “curiosity” is one of the main characteristics of this type of user. Based on this discovery, we boldly put forward the concept of “weakening the glasses”. Through a large number of human-computer tests, we have purposefully solved the problems encountered by users in the wearing experience.
Project Objectives
- Provide PCVR products for “early adopters” VR users to meet their pursuit of novel experiences.
- The design concept of weakening glasses solves the discomfort problems encountered by users during wearing, and provides a more comfortable wearing experience.
Design & Development Process
Through market research and user needs analysis, we gained an in-depth understanding of the market potential and expectations of “early adopter” VR users. We also communicated with them in depth to understand their curiosity attributes and the problems they encountered in the wearing experience. These insights provided valuable references for our product design.
We focused on the attractiveness and uniqueness of the product’s appearance to satisfy “early adopters'” pursuit of novel experiences. With an innovative appearance design, we adopted the concept of weakening the glasses to provide users with a more comfortable wearing experience. At the same time, our carefully designed structure ensures the stability and safety of the PCVR product. We also considered wearing comfort and convenience, providing designs that are easy to adjust and adapt to different users.
Prototype Production
By creating prototypes, we conducted human-computer testing and collected user feedback to optimize the wearing experience and functional design. At the same time, we verified the feasibility of the product and understood user satisfaction through prototyping. This process ensures that our design meets user expectations and provides a high-quality, comfortable and easy-to-wear VR product.
Challenges and Solutions
One of the key challenges was the discomfort and inconvenience encountered by users during the wearing process. To solve these problems, we adopted an innovative appearance and structural design, introducing the design concept of weakening the glasses. This solution effectively improves the wearing experience, allowing users to use the product more comfortably and conveniently.
Final Product Features
- The design of weakening the glasses provides a more comfortable wearing experience.
- Unique appearance design meets the “early adopter”‘s pursuit of novel experience.
- Structural design of stability and safety ensures the reliability of the product.
Impact and Results
The PCVR product has been well received and praised by “early adopter” users in the market. User feedback shows that the wearing experience has been significantly improved, and the product meets their needs for novel experience and comfort. This result further demonstrates the success and market potential of our designed PCVR product.
Conclusion
Our design provides a more exciting experience for this PCVR product targeted at “early adopters”. Our design work is based on in-depth strategic research and user needs analysis, aiming to meet user expectations and provide high-quality, comfortable and easy-to-wear VR products.
